“We stayed here for a family reunion and I do not recommend if you come here with children or those who have a difficult time getting around - the steps in the house are pretty dangerous (we actually had an aunt fall and break her foot) and the dock is also not great to have children around. The property has not been well-maintained and there was water getting into the house and many dead trees on the property dropping branches during a storm. The kitchen felt bare-bones, it didn't have baking...

“Everything was sparkling clean and well appointed.The carport covered entrance was a plus, didn’t have to load or unload the car in the rain.Owner was very responsive to my needs.Having a morning coffee while watching the deer browse along the wood lot was a pleasant plus”

“The property was clean and well laid out. Beds were comfortable. Communication clear and precise. And the best part, plenty of room to maneuver a 21' boat which fit perfectly under the carport.”

“House was very clean, comfortable and in a very nice location, being by downtown Lincolnton and a walking trail right by the house. There was plenty towels, blankets and essentials for our stay. I would definitely stay again and recommend this house for your next stay. This did not affect us but you do have to walk up stairs to the front door. ”

The exquisite sound of the screen doors as they make their way to the snap of a close. Nostalgic, the kind that opens doors and gets banana pudding made at 1030pm ending with a sit in the porch.
